देश जनहित पार्टी (DJP) का उद्देश्य राजनीति नहीं, बल्कि जनसेवा, समानता और न्याय है।
DJP की स्थापना समाज में जाति, धर्म और वर्ग के नाम पर हो रहे अन्याय और भेदभाव के विरुद्ध संघर्ष के लिए की गई। पार्टी के संस्थापक श्री अरविंद (बालु) मेश्राम जी ने वंचित वर्गों पर हो रहे अत्याचारों को गहराई से महसूस किया।
इसी सोच के साथ वर्ष 2004 में “बहुजन मानवाधिकार संरक्षण संघ” की स्थापना हुई, जिसने शिक्षा, रोजगार और स्वास्थ्य जैसे मूल विषयों पर पूरे देश में प्रभावी कार्य किया।
“सच्चा मानवाधिकार तभी संभव है,
जब समाज के हर व्यक्ति को समानता का अधिकार मिले।”
सामाजिक कार्य के साथ राजनीतिक भागीदारी आवश्यक समझते हुए, वर्ष 2017 में देश जनहित पार्टी (DJP) का औपचारिक गठन हुआ।
DJP एक धर्मनिरपेक्ष राजनीतिक दल है जो समता, स्वतंत्रता, बंधुत्व और न्याय के संवैधानिक मूल्यों पर कार्य करता है और गौतम बुद्ध, सम्राट अशोक एवं डॉ. बाबासाहेब आंबेडकर की विचारधारा को आगे बढ़ाता है।
Since its formation, DJP has contested elections in Telangana, Maharashtra, and Bihar and is committed to expanding public-interest politics across India.
